Summer weather in April. We packed up a little picnic and drove to our favourite beach yesterday. Hardly anyone else was there - listening to the waves without any human noise was so relaxing
I couldn't handle the hype anymore, so I caved and bought some Glossier pretties. Note to self: Never buy anything from America that doesn't ship to the UK ever again! I had it delivered to some lovely friends in New Albany who posted it for me, and then I had a customs charge. And, After all that, I found out that Glossier is coming to the UK later this year. WHAAA! Turns out it was totally worth it though, because now I'm desperate to try more of the range! I've been having some issues with skin redness/itchiness (I'm guessing caused by hayfever), and I'm super pale and unhealthy looking right now (blame that on working from home...), but the Cloud Paint is somehow managing to make me look healthy! Especially in the colour Beam. It's a peachy-orangy colour that suits my yellow undertones really well. I usually use a powder blush, but this paint-like textured stain is so much better for my dry skin type. Plus, once it sets it doesn't budge aaalllll day. The concealer deeeefinitely isn't for blemishes, it just isn't high enough coverage, but under the eyes its great! I do suffer from dark purply under eyes, but I've used it for a few days of very minimal makeup now, and I kinda like it. Also, somehow it doesn't crease?? I guess its called 'Stretch" Concealer for a reason! I'd love to try the Milky Jelly Cleanser, Mega Greens Galaxy Pack, Moisturising Moon Mask and the Generation G lipstick! Can't wait for Glossier to come to the UK!
