It was the lowest tide for a while on this evening, so we decided to walk along the beach and watch the sunset. The sky was pink and the rocks gave way to soft sand under our feet and all was quiet.
The weekend was warm, busy and a little intensewe found a place to live in Hastings - the first place we saw! It has beautiful bay windows and original fireplaces, I'm now dreaming of decorating it with all of our things and cycling to work on the seafront. Zissou is going to love the views of the park with all of the moorhens Four weeks to go!

In the first few weeks of May I've snoozed on pebbled beaches,had days out with friends, exercised more, somehow managed to avoid getting sunburn, (or a tan for that matter) and Illustrating little things I wouldn't normally for my new job (!!!) Its nice to be branching out and challenging myself
A couple of weekends ago we travelled to Hastings for a few days. On our way there we visited Bodium Castle (which is incredible by the way - definitely worth a visit!) and we also stopped by Brighton to see Mr. Jukes.We fell in love with Hastings all over again (I hadn't been since December), and found it really hard to leave... Our Airbnb was beautiful.
