Little Lick of Life: February

VERY slowly going through this book, both for myself and Stark & Goodwin. It asks such basic questions that you kind of naturally think about, but never write down. This forces you to get everything down on paper and really look at it all. Saving my head from swimming with branding ideas! I'll be making a blog post about an Etsy update in the next few days - this has been made in to an A3 print! Lil teacake-head Harry got me some of my favourite flowers for Valentines Day. We don't normally do anything out of the ordinary on this day, but colourful flowers are always appreciated! I visited Bath again this month for work - finally started to see some amazing progress with the apartments. If you'd like, you can see more of my interior photography on my (temporary) portfolio site: meggieamey.tumblr.com I really like this teeny face I quickly sketched up out of nowhere a little while ago. The eyes are really different to my normal "style" - but I kinda love it.

What did you do in February? Are you planning anything interesting for March? I'm hoping for brighter, warmer days. A girl can dream!

Little Lick of Life: November

And all of a sudden it's December! Here's what I got up to last month: Chilly walks with Milo, his head blended in with the leaves Foggy glasses Weather! These wool house socks from Muji are so cozy. I kind of want another pair so I can wear them every day... Isn't this pink room is Harrys parents house BEAUTIFUL? Even the ceiling is pink. I LOVE IT!

Little lick of Life: September

What I've been up to this month in image form... Finally brought this little one home! My sister bought it for me over a year ago and I kept forgetting to bring it back with me whenever I visited her. I reported it as soon as I got back and it has since gone CRAZY. Bought this dress and then it got too cold to wear it. Ugh! Until next summer, pretty dress </3 Inktober is upon us! I've been drawing a lot and getting ready, making my title card for some YouTube videos that I'll be uploading during October. I'm planning on uploading once a week, but we'll see how it goes! My sister kindly brought back my Sephora order from Canada with her, can't wait to try these!!! Aaand she brought me back some goodies! Thanks, Sunne!

Favourite Things: July

My favourites this month. Again, they could be anything! From movies and tv to food and makeup, let's see what I've enjoyed this month... 1. Yoga. I've taken it up again! I'm easing myself in with the 30 days of yoga challenge with "Yoga With Adriene" on YouTube. I completed this last year and thought it would be a handy tool to get myself back in to the swing of it. I seem to be on a bit of a fitness kick at the moment, so if anyone has any tips for an ultimate beginner to fitness, please let me know! I don't like all of the quick fix stuff that seems to go around so often on social media, so none o' that please and thanks! I do have an end goal in mind, but I don't mind if it takes me a while to get there the healthy way.

2. A new Netflix original series; Stranger Things. First off, can we just talk about this typeface? Jesus. My eyes turned in to massive hearts and popped out of my head when I saw it. BEAUDIFUL. AND THEN THE POSTER! Eesh. I love a good classic illustrated poster. You can find the artist Apart from all the good artwork for this, it's a really great series. I honestly think it's probably the best new tv show I've seen all year. I don't want to give anything away about it if you haven't seen it though, so go watch it!!!

3. The fact that Harry's family garden is filled with yummy fruit and vegetables. Why does something that's home grown, even when it hasn't been grown by you, taste so much better? This month I've been enjoying courgettes, artichokes, sorrel, raspberries, strawberries and mint. The tomatoes will be ready soon, too. 4. This tea: I think this is my favourite earl grey ever (so far), and now that I'm out of boring in comparison Waitrose tea bags I can enjoy this every day instead of only occasionally when I'm feeling faaaancy 💅🏻. I'm a lover of anything bergamot, and this is really bergamot-y and floral and mmmmgood. If you're an earl grey lover and haven't tried this, come over for a cup, and bring some biscuits!
